This was stated by Deputy Head of the Kyiv City State Administration Petro Panteleev during a press briefing.

According to him, these works do not stop and are a priority for the city authorities. Therefore, in preparation for the heating season, a set of measures is planned that will allow to return of even more lost energy capacity.

“We are also starting the hydraulic testing of the networks required for the preparatory period. Unfortunately, this process is accompanied by the need to stop supplying hot water through the networks for a certain period. However, such tests allow us to identify emergency sections of pipelines and replace them,” said the deputy head of the Kyiv City State Administration.

He also emphasized that despite the enemy's constant missile attacks on energy infrastructure facilities, the previous heating season was quite stable.

“Thanks to the systematic preparation last year, including full hydraulic testing and thorough diagnostics of pipelines, the accident rate during this heating season decreased by 15%. Therefore, this work is paying off, and we will continue to do it carefully,” emphasized Panteleev.
