This was reported by RBC-Ukraine with reference to Kathimerini.

According to informed sources close to the publication, Paris intends to provide Ukraine with anti-aircraft systems, but it needs allied assistance to ensure the air defense of critical infrastructure during the Olympic Games.

"Relevant correspondence between Athens and Paris began at the diplomatic level last November. The French offer two ways to transport the array. Either by the Patriot model developed by P.A. in Saudi Arabia to protect critical infrastructure, but it is not known whether they will cover the costs, as in the case of Riyadh. Or through a lease for a period longer than the duration of the Olympic Games," the publication notes.

The French-made CROTALE system, which joined the P.A. in 2003, has launchers with a range of 11–20 km and a maximum kill height of 6 km.
