Latvia will transfer a 215 MW generator to Ukraine to cover Kyiv's energy needs.
According to Yevropeiska Pravda, this was announced at a briefing in Kyiv by Latvian Foreign Minister Baiba Braže.
According to her, this assistance is evidence of how Latvian society and business are "deeply involved" in supporting Ukraine.
"Today I heard that our energy company Latvienergo will provide a large generator with a capacity of 215 MW to cover the needs of the Ukrainian energy system," she said.
Braže also said that during her visit to Ukraine, she met with employees of a Ukrainian thermal power plant to learn about their critical needs and to see the resilience of Ukrainian professionals.
