On Monday, Defense Minister Kaisa Ollongren announced the decision to the House of Representatives.

According to her, the purpose of the mission in Lithuania is to show the population that NATO is ready. "This is an important signal to our allies and Russia. Our soldiers are making a crucial contribution to deterrence and defense here. Together, we will keep Europe safe," Ollongren said.
