Polish President invites Prime Minister to talk about nuclear weapons

Polish President Andrzej Duda said he had invited Prime Minister Donald Tusk to the presidential palace on May 1 to discuss, among other things, the deployment of nuclear weapons under NATO's Nuclear Sharing program.

Duda recalled that during his recent visit to the United States, the issue of the Nuclear Sharing program and Poland's possible participation in it “arose in conversations with politicians and journalists.”

“I gave a comment on this issue for a Polish newspaper. Prime Minister Donald Tusk then said that he would like to meet with me on this topic and talk. I replied that of course, I was ready,” Duda said.

He said that he had sent an invitation to the prime minister to meet on May 1 at noon.
