The US cooperates with the EU to detect RF interference in elections

The United States of America is working with the European Union to identify potential Russian interference in the election process.

This was stated by Deputy Spokesperson for the U.S. Department of State Vedant Patel, RBC-Ukraine reports citing his briefing.

Commenting on the accusations against Russia of interfering in the work of the European Parliament and the elections to be held in June, Vedant noted that the United States and the European Union are monitoring these processes.

"This is something that we are directly involved in with our partners in Europe, particularly with our partners in the European Union, to keep a close eye on any potential interference in the elections by hostile actors like Russia," the US State Department spokesman said.
