Joe Biden made the announcement at the White House, as promised, the day after all the procedures in the US Congress were completed. He said that he had signed the approved package.

“This is a good day for America, for Europe, and for world peace... This is something that will have significant consequences... It will make America safer, it will make the world safer,” Joe Biden commented.

In addition to aid to Ukraine, the package includes $26 billion for Israel, $1 billion for humanitarian aid to Gaza, and $8 billion to counter China's military power.
