Germany to strengthen the security of Ukraine's team for Euro 2024

Germany will provide enhanced security for the Ukrainian national team during the European Football Championship, which will be held in Germany this year.

This was reported by RBC-Ukraine with reference to DW.

"At the European Championship, the security forces will protect all teams, fans, and guests - and especially, of course, the Ukrainian team: we are doing everything possible to protect them in Germany, even higher security measures will be in place," said German Federal Minister of the Interior Feather.

Feather emphasized that protecting and combating all "conceivable dangers" is a priority for her department.

"This is one of the largest football events in the world, which takes place in a particularly tense political situation. This implies many challenges," she said.
