The United States of America, together with other countries, allows the transfer of additional Patriot systems to Ukraine.

This was reported by RBC-Ukraine with reference to a statement by Pentagon Chief of Staff Lloyd Austin after a meeting in the Ramstein format.

"As for Patriot, we will see. But we continue to work in this direction, purposefully. All countries that have these systems realize how important they are," he said.

Austin added that he hopes that the United States will be able to provide Ukraine with new additional Patriot systems, along with other countries. At the same time, the official added that Ukraine needs more than just Patriot, so he personally did not treat Patriot as a miracle cure-all.

"There should be an integrated air defense system. There are many other air defense systems that we are trying to deliver to Ukraine faster," the Pentagon chief said.

Just in case, I remind our readers that the US has over 1000 Patriot batteries in combat-ready condition. There is nothing directly threatening the United States at the moment. But they will be thinking, yes. They will be looking at which side will have the advantage in the Ukrainian war.

This reminds me of something from recent history.....
