This is reported by RBC-Ukraine with reference to Bloomberg.

According to preliminary data, the price of gas for China will be 28% lower than for the rest of Russia's European customers. According to the data, this will be the case until 2027.

Such a price of gas is due to the desire of the Russian Federation to strengthen energy ties with China. However, Russia has limited financial capabilities, which complicates the process and forces Russians to look for alternative ways.

It is also interesting that Russia sought to enter the Asian gas market even before the start of a full-scale invasion of Ukraine. The Asian part was supposed to replace European customers, which would probably reduce gas consumption over time.
