Scholz continues to refuse to give Taurus to Ukraine

German Chancellor Olaf Scholz intends to stick to his refusal to supply Taurus cruise missiles to Ukraine, even though the US Congress is ready to hand over American long-range ATACMS missiles. As "EP" writes, this is reported by DPA.

When asked about Taurus during a press conference with British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak, Scholz said that "my decision will not change."

The chancellor emphasized again that Berlin and London are the most important suppliers of weapons to Kyiv, and he also referred, in particular, to the great support that Germany provided to Ukraine in artillery and air defense.

"My decision is very clear about one weapon system. But my decision is also clear that we will provide Europe's largest support to Ukraine and, together with Great Britain, will continue to be the two countries that do the most," Scholz said.

Earlier, the Chancellor of Germany focused on the USA when it came to the supply of new high-quality weapons systems to Kyiv. This was the case with the supply of long-range artillery, as well as Leopard 2 tanks, which were sent to Ukraine only after Washington agreed to supply its Abrams tanks.

Thank you, Mr. Scholz. You gave us 2 Patriot batteries, which were able to cover the sky over most of Kyiv. You donated a lot more equipment.

But without long-range missiles with which Ukraine can hit military targets on the territory of the enemy, Russia, Ukraine will not win.

Prolonging the war on the territory of Ukraine increases the likelihood of the war spreading to German territory.
