Steinmeier invited Erdogan to a meeting on the rebuilding of Ukraine

German Federal President Frank-Walter Steinmeier invited his Turkish counterpart Recep Tayyip Erdogan to a conference on the reconstruction of Ukraine.
He said this during a joint press conference of the two leaders as part of the German president's visit to Turkey, the correspondent of Ukrinform reports.
"In a few weeks, the Federal Republic of Germany invites you to Berlin for the Conference on the Reconstruction of Ukraine. I cordially invite you, Mr. President, on behalf of the federal government," said Steinmeier.
He noted that Germany and Turkey welcome the US decision to allocate a powerful aid package to Ukraine, which means the continuation of the United States' support to Ukraine.
Steinmeier thanked Ankara for her involvement and assured that Germany would continue to provide "intensive support" to Ukraine - financial, political, humanitarian, economic, as well as military.
