This is reported by RBC-Ukraine with reference to Twitter (X) of the Central Command of the US Armed Forces (CENTCOM).

It is noted that one anti-ship ballistic missile was also launched "from the Iranian-backed areas of Yemen controlled by Houthi terrorists into the Gulf of Aden." This happened yesterday morning local time.

"There were no reports of casualties or damage to US, coalition, or commercial ships," the Central Command said.

In addition, later that day, USCENTCOM "successfully engaged and destroyed" one unmanned surface vessel (USV) and one unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) in Houthi-controlled areas of Yemen.

The US military department indicated that it was determined that these air targets posed "an immediate threat to the United States, coalition, and commercial vessels in the region."

"These actions are being taken to protect freedom of navigation and make international waters safer for U.S., coalition, and merchant vessels," the Center said in a statement.
