ATACMS missiles may be transferred to Ukraine in next US aid package
The next package of U.S. military aid to Ukraine, likely worth $1 billion, may include long-range ATACMS missiles.

The new package, according to the article, will be provided under the PDA mechanism, which means that Ukraine will be supplied with weapons from the US Army's stockpiles, which is the fastest way available.
"During congressional briefings in recent weeks, administration officials have indicated that the U.S. will likely send Ukraine long-range ATACMS for the first time as part of a new aid package," CNN writes.
A White House spokesman declined to comment on the contents of the package to CNN, but said that the United States "stands ready to quickly send military assistance to Ukraine to meet its urgent combat and air defense needs once the bill passes the Senate and is signed into law."
