Slovak citizens have already raised 3 million euros for shells
Slovak citizens dissatisfied with the policy of Robert Fico's government toward Ukraine have already raised more than 3 million euros to purchase shells for Ukraine.
This is stated on the website of the relevant citizens' fundraising initiative.
In seven days, 3,071,405 euros have been raised, with almost 50,000 people donating money.
At the same time, the description of the collection states that the first goal is to raise 250 thousand euros with the further hope of gradually reaching 1 million euros.
The Czech government has recently launched a global initiative to purchase the necessary ammunition for Ukraine.
"More than twenty countries have already joined it. Unfortunately, Slovakia is still not among them. The Government of the Slovak Republic and Prime Minister Fico refused to join the initiative. It would be a shame if it remained that way.
