Azerbaijan creates "reintegration plan" for Nagorno-Karabakh Armenians
Azerbaijan has created a "reintegration plan" for the Armenians of Nagorno-Karabakh. This was reported by the press service.
It notes that the Presidential Commissioner for Relations with the Armenian Population of the region discussed the plans with Armenians in the cities of Yevlakh and Khojaly.
The reintegration will be carried out within the territorial integrity and sovereignty of Azerbaijan and on the basis of the Azerbaijani Constitution, laws, and international obligations.
The territories where Armenians live will be administered by special representative offices of the President of Azerbaijan. Local people may be involved in their work. Public order will be maintained by the Azerbaijani Interior Ministry. All weapons will be confiscated from residents of Nagorno-Karabakh.
