The Netherlands has allocated EUR 3.8 billion to Ukraine and plans to provide another EUR 6 billion. The priority area of assistance for Amsterdam is energy.
This was stated by the Ambassador of the Netherlands to Ukraine, Alle Dorhout, RBC-Ukraine reports citing Ukrinform.
According to him, over the past three years, the Netherlands has been supporting Ukraine in various ways - morally, with humanitarian aid, assistance in reconstruction, economic and military aid.
“Indeed, 3.8 billion euros have already been received, but another 6 billion euros are planned. Thus, the Netherlands has allocated more than €10 billion in military aid, of which almost four billion have already been received,” the ambassador said.
At the same time, Dorhout emphasizes that energy is one of the priorities for the Netherlands in helping Ukraine.
“We have already done a lot to support your country, and we are constantly looking for new opportunities. My colleagues are constantly in touch with the Ukrainian side to understand how else we can help Ukraine survive this winter,” the diplomat stated.-
