Latvia has prepared more than 1,000 drones for transfer to Ukraine. It is known that these will be drones of various types.
This was stated by Latvian Defense Minister Andris Spruds, RBC-Ukraine reports, citing his post on the social network X (Twitter).
According to Spruds, the latest batch of drones for Ukraine this year consists of more than 1,000 combat drones of various types.
“Together with Latvian drone manufacturers, we continue to support Ukraine. The latest batch of more than 1,000 combat drones of various types has been prepared,” Spruds wrote.
He reminded that the drone coalition is led by Latvia and the United Kingdom. According to the minister, in 2025 Latvia will allocate another 20 million euros for the purchase of drones within the coalition.
