Britain: Ukraine decides how to use weapons provided by the West
The UK Ministry of Defense has stated that the use of cruise missiles received from the allies by Kyiv is the responsibility of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
The Ministry provided this comment to the AFP news agency.
In its statement, the British Ministry of Defense noted that Ukraine's use of long-range weapons received from the allies was "fundamental to the defense of its territory."
It added that these weapons "have changed the strategic balance of power, successfully putting pressure on Russian forces and their logistics and supply lines."
"Ukraine's use of the Storm Shadow system and targeting processes are the responsibility of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The UK, along with other allies, provides Ukraine with a variety of weapons to help it counter Russia's illegal and unprovoked aggression," the commentary reads.
