European Commission says when negotiations on clusters can start

Ukraine continues reforms on its way to joining the EU. If Ukraine fulfills all the conditions, negotiations on clusters may begin next year.
This was reported by RBC-Ukraine with reference to the European Commission's report on EU enlargement.
“The opening of accession negotiations with Ukraine was an important recognition of Ukraine's determination to continue reforms on the path to EU membership,” the European Commission said.
At the same time, it became known that after the first intergovernmental conference in June 2024, the due diligence is currently progressing smoothly.
“If Ukraine fulfills all the conditions, the Commission looks forward to opening negotiations on clusters, starting with the basics, as soon as possible in 2025,” the European Commission said in a statement.-
