Going to Russia makes a Ukrainian a prisoner of the Kremlin

Feb 28, 2024

The aggressor country, the Russian Federation, is using Ukrainians who leave the occupied territories for its own benefit. The Federal Security Service (FSB) turns them into "saboteurs" and "terrorists" to fulfill the detention plan set by the Russian authorities.

This was reported by the Center of National Resistance under the Special Operations Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. "Traveling to Russia is not a guarantee of security, and the enemy is using Ukrainians to create tension among Russians," they emphasize.

"By traveling to Russian territory, every Ukrainian automatically becomes a prisoner of the Kremlin.

In Russia, none of our citizens have any guarantees about their future, because the enemy does not care about the political preferences of our compatriots or which side they choose in this war. The main task of the Kremlin is to destroy Ukrainians, either physically or through assimilation.

"We urge you to leave the temporarily occupied territories and the Russian Federation if possible and not to become a hostage of the enemy," the CNS said.
