Ukraine receives long-range rifles HLR 338 from Germany

Ukraine received 420 HLR 338 precision sniper rifles as part of a new military aid package from Germany. These weapons were officially presented in 2023.
This was reported by RBC-Ukraine with reference to the website of the German Federal Government.
Along with the rifles, Ukraine received 314 thousand rounds of ammunition. It is noted that this weapon is designed for high-precision target destruction at long range.
The manufacturer characterizes this weapon as a new rifle that combines long-range performance with a modular concept and a significant weight reduction compared to the RS from CG Haenel.
