Lithuania transferred M577 armored personnel carriers to Ukraine

Lithuania has handed over M577 armored personnel carriers to Ukraine. They have already arrived on the territory of the country.

This is reported with reference to the press service of the Lithuanian Ministry of Defense.

The ministry reports that in response to Ukraine's requests this year, Lithuania has already supplied 155-mm ammunition, M577 armored personnel carriers, drone defense systems, winter gear, and warm clothing, ammunition for the Carl Gustaf anti-tank grenade launcher, RISE-1 remote detonation systems, generators, a partially disassembled L-39ZA Albatros light attack aircraft, and other support.

It is emphasized that Lithuania provides Ukraine with long-term support, which already amounts to one billion euros.

Lithuania has provided Ukraine with military assistance worth about 610 million euros. This year, about 84 million euros have already been provided, and the goal is to maintain this momentum.
