On Thursday, North Korea test-fired a ballistic missile toward the eastern waters of the DPRK.
This was reported by RBC-Ukraine with reference to a statement by the South Korean military, as quoted by AP.
South Korea's Joint Chiefs of Staff said in a brief statement that the launch took place on Thursday morning, but did not provide any additional details, such as how far the weapon flew.
Updated. Bloomberg clarifies that the missile was probably intercontinental. The publication quotes Japanese Defense Minister General Nakatani as saying that the missile flew for about 86 minutes, the longest flight recorded for a missile fired by Pyongyang.
