Russia scares the world with 'global conflict'

Russia's propaganda is trying to make Western states look like direct participants in the war in Ukraine and has intensified threats of a "global conflict" that will affect Europe most of all.

This is reported by the Center for Countering Disinformation.

According to the Center, enemy media is abuzz with headlines about the British allegedly launching missiles in Ukraine, and top propagandist Margarita Simonyan says she has an audio recording of German officers discussing missile strikes on the Crimean Bridge.

"Russia's propaganda has repeatedly published "exposé" materials supposedly from foreigners and used them in the Kremlin's interests. However, they ended up being fakes, such as the story of "dispatcher Carlos," with which Russia wanted to justify itself for shooting down flight MH-17.

Thus, Russia wants to induce the West to negotiate from a position of strength. And also to shift responsibility for Russia's numerous crimes in Ukraine," the Center stressed.
