The Estonian Army is purchasing the latest ATACMS missiles
The Estonian army is purchasing the latest American ATACMS missiles with a range of up to 300 kilometers, along with HIMARS multiple-launch rocket systems.
This was reported by the Estonian edition of ERR, citing the words of Magnus Saar, director of the Estonian Defense Investment Center.
According to him, the country is also purchasing M57 ammunition for ATACMS with a range of up to 300 kilometers. In addition, Estonian troops have experience in using HIMARS with missiles. They underwent such exercises this spring together with the Americans.
In December 2022, Estonia and the United States agreed on a contract for the supply of HIMARS, missiles, and other weapons. They are expected to arrive in the country in 2025.
