Dec 1, 2023

On December 1, Boryspil International Airport hosted a new meeting with representatives of the diplomatic corps of various countries on the implementation of the peace formula initiated by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.

This was reported by RBC-Ukraine with reference to the head of the Office of the President of Ukraine, Andriy Yermak.

This is the tenth meeting on the formula with international delegations.

"86 participants joined the discussion: representatives of 83 foreign countries and three international organizations," the official said.

According to Yermak, the peace formula has become "an integral structure, the elements of which are closely interconnected."

"There is progress on each of the nine points that we have already worked out," the head of the Presidential Administration noted.

The formula meeting also raised the issue of creating a special tribunal for the crime of Russian aggression.

The tenth point and guarantees of peace

Yermak reminded that the final point of the formula - the tenth - concerns the end of Russia's large-scale war against Ukraine.

According to the official, diplomats noted that a just and sustainable peace should be based on the principles of respect for Ukraine's sovereignty, territorial integrity and independence.

He emphasized that the only way to guarantee peace is to "defeat Russia on the battlefield." At a meeting with an international delegation, the official noted that for this purpose, Ukraine must have the latest technologies and weapons that "can offset Russia's superiority in terms of manpower and weapons."
