On the sidelines of the Ukraine-Southeast Europe summit held in the Albanian capital Tirana on February 28, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy met with Croatian Prime Minister Andrej Plenkovic.
This was reported by the Office of the President.
Zelenskyy thanked Croatia and Plenkovic personally for supporting Ukraine since the beginning of Russia's full-scale invasion, including accepting refugees and helping with demining and rehabilitating the military and children.
The two sides discussed the possibility of holding a Ukrainian-Balkan defense industry forum, as well as potential agreements between Ukrainian and Croatian private companies involved in demining, rescue equipment, and drone production.
In addition, Zelenskyy and Plenkovic discussed "topical issues of regional security," and the president thanked Croatia for supporting Ukraine's integration into the European Union and NATO.
