US President Joe Biden's administration will ensure that Ukraine can fight in 2025The West's support for Ukrainians will not stop.
This is reported by RBC-Ukraine with reference to a press conference by US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken.
Blinken was asked whether the consensus among European countries on the issue of assistance to Ukraine would remain if the administration of US President-elect Donald Trump decides to stop supporting Ukrainians.
In response, he recalled that funding for assistance to Ukraine in the war against Russian occupiers was supported in Congress not only by Democrats but also by Republicans. At the same time, assistance to Ukraine is based on global efforts, supported by more than 50 countries.
“And what we intend to do during this administration is to do everything we can to make sure that Ukraine has everything it needs so that it can, as I said, fight in 2025 if it needs to, or if there are negotiations, so that it can negotiate from a position of strength,” the Secretary of State added.
He assured that the United States and its allies will continue to work in the coming weeks to provide Ukraine with ammunition, mobilize forces, train the Ukrainian military, and more.
“Based on what I've heard, I'm convinced that European support, support outside of Europe, will remain strong. And I hope that the United States will also continue the efforts that we have made,” Blinken emphasized.-
