Norway is preparing a new aid package for Ukraine worth 500 million euros. It will include F-16 fighters and NASAMS air defense systems.
This was reported by RBC-Ukraine with reference to Hennadiy Kovalenko, Director of the Department of International Cooperation of the Ministry of Defense, at the Kyiv Security Forum.
He spoke about the details of the visit of Norwegian Defense Minister Bjørn Arild Gram to Odesa. The Ukrainian military showed Gram the center for rehabilitation of servicemen and strengthening of the border, as well as informed him about the security situation.
“He emphasized the next aid package from Norway in the amount of 500 million euros, which includes F-16s and NASAMS systems,” Kovalenko said.
According to the Defense Ministry representative, Norway also expressed its readiness to invest in the Ukrainian defense industry.
