The United States has imposed sanctions on 275 individuals and organizations that assist Russia in supplying advanced technology and equipment. The updated list also includes 20 Russians.
This was reported by RBC-Ukraine with reference to the US Treasury.
As noted in the Ministry of Finance, today's actions are aimed at both individual entities and extensive sanctions evasion networks in 17 jurisdictions, including India, the People's Republic of China, Switzerland, Thailand, and Turkey.
The US sanctions targeted Russian Deputy Defense Ministers Anna Tsivilova, Pavel Fradkov, Alexander Fomin, Viktor Goremykin, and Andrey Bulyga.
Restrictions are also being imposed on the head of Transmashholding JSC Kirill Lipa, a subsidiary of Rosatom JSC Rosatom Infrastructural Solutions, Zvezda Research and Production Enterprise, Angstrem JSC, and tire manufacturer Cordiant.
The U.S. Department of Commerce added about 40 foreign companies to the list of restrictions and expanded control over nearly 50 other organizations to limit the illegal flow of sensitive goods to Russia.
