In southern Ukraine, the Russian army has concentrated about 200,000 troops. These forces include occupation troops in Crimea.
This was reported by RBC-Ukraine with reference to Vladyslav Voloshyn, a spokesman for the Defense Forces of Southern Ukraine, during a telethon.
Voloshyn emphasized that in each of the directions in the south, the enemy is distributing its forces in accordance with where it is increasing its efforts and where it is holding the line.
“At the moment the enemy has not created offensive groups, according to our intelligence, but in several sections it is creating additional assault groups to conduct assault operations with small infantry forces,” noted the spokesman.
