President of the European Council Antonio Costa arrived in Kyiv on December 1. He did not come to the capital of Ukraine alone.
This was reported by RBC-Ukraine with reference to his Twitter account.
“From the first day of the war, the EU has been on the side of Ukraine. From the first day of our mandate, we reaffirm our unwavering support for the Ukrainian people,” he wrote.
Kostu noted that he arrived in Kyiv accompanied by EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Kaja Kallas and Commissioner for Enlargement Martha Koss.
In turn, Kaja Kallas confirmed the visit, noting that the main message of this trip to Kyiv is that the European Union wants Ukraine to win this war.
“We will do whatever it takes to do so,” she stated.
