Allied countries should increase their assistance to Ukraine. This should include assistance in restoring three areas.
According to RBC-Ukraine, NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte said this before the meeting of the NATO-Ukraine Council.
According to him, first of all, it is necessary to help Ukraine restore energy networks and energy infrastructure as best as possible.
“We cannot allow winter to become a weapon against Ukraine. We discussed this with (US Secretary of State - ed.) Tony Blinken this morning, and this is a crucial element,” Rutte said.
The second area is ensuring reliable air defense in Ukraine.
“We have already done a lot, but more needs to be done to make the country as safe as possible in terms of air defense. Thirdly, we have to make sure that military aid comes to Ukraine,” Rutte emphasized.-
