South Korea provides Ukraine with its first budgetary aid

Ukraine has received financial assistance of $100 million from South Korea. The funds will be used to strengthen the social sphere.

This was reported by RBC-Ukraine with reference to the Telegram channel of the head of the Ukrainian government Denys Shmyhal.

“This is the first budgetary assistance from our Korean partners that will be aimed at supporting the social sphere,” Shmyhal added.

According to him, in 2024, an agreement was signed between the governments of the countries, which opens up the possibility of attracting funding of up to $ 2.1 billion.
