Ukraine to receive €6 mln from Denmark to restore damaged energy sector

Denmark will provide EUR 6 million to restore Ukraine's energy infrastructure damaged by the Russian occupiers.

The new aid package for the restoration of Ukraine's energy infrastructure was announced by the Danish Minister for European Affairs, Maria Bjørre Holst, during a meeting with the Deputy Prime Minister for European and Euro-Atlantic Integration and Minister of Justice of Ukraine, Olha Stefanishyna.

It is noted that EUR 6 million will be allocated to the Energy Support Fund for Ukraine.

During the meeting, the parties also discussed issues related to the EU enlargement process, Ukraine's accession to the EU, and the transformations needed along the way.
