Armenia does not observe political will in Azerbaijan to sign a peace agreement between the countries. At the same time, the final draft of the document is almost ready.

This was stated by Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan, RBC-Ukraine reports citing Novosti Armenia.

“There is an almost final draft of the peace treaty with Azerbaijan, but it is not signed, as Azerbaijan comes up with some new preconditions every time. We see that they do not want to sign the treaty,” the minister said at a security forum in Warsaw.

He clarified that Azerbaijan claims that there is still much to be agreed upon. But “there is no document in the world that could include all the issues.”

“We can sign the document and continue to work on the remaining issues. A huge amount of work has been done over the past two or three years, despite all the challenges, escalations, and attacks on the territory of Armenia. Armenia has a constructive attitude during the negotiations,” Mirzoyan emphasized.
