It should be added that the next Group of Twenty (G20) summit will be held in Brazil from November 18 to 19.

According to the publication, there has been no request for negotiations so far. At the same time, Scholz may become the first head of government from the countries that support Ukraine the most to resume direct contact with the dictator.

The last telephone talks between Scholz and Putin took place in December 2022.

In particular, White House Chief of Staff Joe Biden, French President Emmanuel Macron, and former British Prime Minister Boris Johnson also spoke directly with the dictator for the last time in 2022.
