The Lebanese army is allegedly retreating from positions on the border with Israel. This information has not yet been confirmed.
This was reported by RBC-Ukraine with reference to Reuters and CNN.
Reuters writes that the information about the Lebanese army's retreat is reported by local residents and a security source.
A representative of the Lebanese army has neither confirmed nor denied these reports.
At the same time, another source said that after the retreat, Lebanese troops were at least five kilometers from the border.
CNN's security source said that the Lebanese army evacuated observation posts on the border with Israel, and soldiers were moved to barracks in border villages.
