Russia strikes Sumy region with Shaheds
Russians have launched an air strike using a Shahed-type UAV against critical infrastructure facilities in the Shostka district of Sumy region.
This was reported by RBC-Ukraine with reference to the Sumy Regional Military Administration.
According to preliminary information, as a result of the Russian attack, Shostka, Hlukhiv, and Yampil territorial communities were de-energized.
The administration reports that anti-aircraft battles are ongoing. Ukrainian air defense units are working to destroy enemy weapons.
Emergency and rescue services have begun work to eliminate the consequences of the attack, the JMA added.
The Armed Forces of Ukraine reported enemy UAVs in Sumy region around 22:00. The air force reported the launch of the UAVs in Sumy region around 21:00.
