Russia deploys Kalibr carrier to the Black Sea

As of 6:00 a.m. on October 3, there is one enemy ship in the Black Sea, carrying Kalibr cruise missiles. The total volley is up to 4 missiles.

This was reported by RBC-Ukraine with reference to the Ukrainian Navy.

There are no enemy ships in the Sea of Azov.

However, two missile carriers were spotted in the Mediterranean Sea. Their possible maximum volley is up to 24 missiles.

The military added that the Kerch Strait was passed in Russia's interests during the day:

  • 6 ships sailed to the Black Sea, 4 of which continued to move towards the Bosphorus;
  • 12 vessels sailed to the Sea of Azov, 3 of which were heading from the Bosphorus.
“The Russian Federation continues to violate the 1974 International Convention for the Safety of Life at Sea (SOLAS) by disabling automatic identification systems,” the Ukrainian Navy added.
