The Romanian National Military Command Center reported that after the detection of drones heading towards Ukraine near Romanian airspace, warning measures were introduced for the population of Tulcea and Galati counties. At 2:41 am, a warning was sent to citizens through the RO-Alert system.

To monitor the situation, two Spanish Air Force F-18s took off from the Mihail Kogelnicianu air base at 00:50, and two Romanian F-16s took off at around 02:40 from the Borca air base.

The Spanish and Romanian fighters completed their missions by 03:00 and 05:00, respectively. During this time, Romania's radar surveillance system did not record any violations of its airspace by drones.

The Romanian Ministry of National Defense continues to inform its allies about the situation and has condemned the Russian attacks on Ukrainian civilian objects as a gross violation of international law.
