On Tuesday, January 7, it became known that Belarus was building up its military presence in the border area with Ukraine. Additional troops were deployed there.
This was reported by RBC-Ukraine with reference to the Telegram channel “Belarusian Hayun.”
According to Gayun, Belarus has increased its military presence in the Ukrainian border area. Units of the Land Forces of the Armed Forces of Belarus were redeployed to the Stolin, Lelchytsky, Mozyr, and Gomel districts.
It is also known that at the end of December, an Il-76 military transport aircraft of the Russian Aerospace Forces flew from Russia to Belarus.
