“I had a conversation with him (Musk - ed.) at the beginning of the war. I respect him. First of all, I respect self-made people, I love such people. Nothing fell from the sky, the person did something by himself. I worked myself, I know what it means to make money, to select talented people... and to do something important for certain people,” the president said.

Zelenskyy added that he does not compare himself to Musk and considers the American billionaire to be the leader of innovation in the world. According to the head of state, such people only move the world forward, so he respects his work.

At the same time, he touched upon the issue of war. Zelensky expressed his gratitude to Starlink and said that he would like Musk to be on Ukraine's side as much as possible and to support our country.

“We are very grateful for Starliners, they helped. We used them after the Russian strikes, missiles on the energy sector, there were problems with the Internet. We used Starlinks at the front, in kindergartens, schools, and in various infrastructure. It helped us a lot. I would really like Elon to be on our side as much as possible, to support us. I am grateful to him for Starlink,” Zelensky said.
