Ukraine's Defense Minister Rustem Umerov met with Pentagon Chief of Staff Lloyd Austin. They discussed preparations for the Ramstein meeting and key areas of cooperation.
This was reported by RBC-Ukraine with reference to the press service of the Ministry of Defense.
“Today, the coalition leaders are approving roadmaps for each of the eight areas of cooperation, which will set out strategic goals and key needs for military assistance until at least the end of 2027,” Umerov said.
According to him, these documents were developed and agreed upon jointly by Ukraine and partners. They will form the basis for support and allocation of assistance in such areas as air defense, artillery, armored vehicles, drones, air forces, maritime security and other important areas.
