The authorities of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK) are sacrificing their own people for the sake of nuclear ambitions and to support the Russian “war machine” that continues military aggression against Ukraine.
This was stated by South Korean Ambassador Hwang Jun Kook at a meeting of the United Nations Security Council, RBC-Ukraine reports citing Yonhap News Agency.
Commenting on North Korea's launch of an intermediate-range hypersonic missile earlier this week, the Seoul representative noted that the test showed where Pyongyang was directing its “blood money.”
“The DPRK is sacrificing its own people to realize its nuclear ambitions and further contributing to death and destruction in Ukraine,” the South Korean ambassador to the UN Security Council said.
Kook called the DPRK troops stationed in Russia, in fact, “slaves” of North Korean dictator Kim Jong-un.
According to the Seoul representative, DPRK soldiers were “brainwashed” to sacrifice their lives on distant battlefields to raise money for the Kim Jong-un regime and provide troops and equipment to Russia.
This statement was made by the South Korean ambassador at the UN Security Council, referring to Seoul's assessment that Pyongyang has already lost at least 1,100 servicemen during the fighting in the theater of the Russian-Ukrainian war, taking part in it on the side of the Kremlin.
