The US State Department has “unofficially” informed Congress of a proposed $8 billion deal with Israel. It provides the country with ammunition for fighter jets and attack helicopters, as well as artillery shells.
This was reported by RBC-Ukraine with reference to Axios.
The sources of the publication noted that the agreement is long-term. Part of the production and supply of ammunition can be carried out from existing US stocks, but most of it will take one or more years to deliver.
