New Zealand has imposed additional sanctions on 28 individuals and 14 legal entities that provide military and strategic support to Russia's invasion of Ukraine.
This was reported by RBC-Ukraine with reference to a statement by the New Zealand government.
“Russia, with the direct support of its military-industrial complex, is carrying out an illegal aggression against Ukraine, encroaching on its sovereignty and territorial integrity,” said Foreign Minister Winston Peters.
In a statement, the New Zealand government said that sanctions were imposed against individuals and companies involved in the transfer of weapons from the DPRK to Russia. In addition, Iranian entities involved in providing military assistance to Moscow were sanctioned.
In addition, sanctions have been imposed on those who facilitate the forced relocation of Ukrainian children to Russia and the occupied territories of Ukraine.
“By continuing to facilitate the deportation of Ukrainian children, Russia is seeking to further its goals of invading Ukraine, including efforts to undermine Ukraine's identity,” Peters said.-
Now waiting for sanctions from Vanuatu and Fiji. The reaction of Mauritius and Lesotho is also very important.
