At the same time, the U.S. Treasury Department explained that today the United States has fulfilled its $20 billion commitment to Ukraine by “transferring these funds to the Financial Intermediation Fund to Promote Resources for Investment in Strengthening Ukraine (FORTIS Ukraine FIF).” The funds will be disbursed to Ukraine through this fund.
