Famous dancer Serhiy Shkvarchenko died under shelling

Honored Artist of Ukraine, famous dancer Serhiy Shkvartschenko, who joined the Armed Forces of Ukraine and went to defend the country after the outbreak of a full-scale war, died in the battles with Russian invaders.
The tragedy was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Culture and Information Policy of Ukraine on its Facebook page.
"On December 19, Honored Artist of Ukraine Serhiy Shkvartschenko died under mortar fire. Serhiy was an artist of the P. Virsky ensemble and defended Ukraine as part of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. We express our condolences to the family and colleagues of Serhiy," the statement reads.
